Distinctive Garage Floors - What to expect during the DGF install process
When our experienced coating crew arrives at your house, we start each job by confirming the areas to be coated and verifying the product(s) and color(s) options selected to be installed have not changed.
Our professional crew then gets right to work with your surface preparation. This critical process involves retesting your concrete for any possible moisture content changes and confirming the concretes hardness levels using the Moh's system.
We only use industry leading products, starting with Lavina floor grinder(s) and Matabo hand grinders to prepare the floor surface and remove any previously installed coatings, sealers, or "life" stains while opening up the concrete pores to accept our deep wicking base coat.
After the initial concrete grinding is completed, we repair the cracks, spalling, or other imperfections that occur in your concrete floor and grind the concrete a second time in the opposite direction.
Our floor and hand grinders are all attached to our powerful Pulsebac triple HEPA filtered vacuum(s) that remove 99.9% of dust during the grinding process. Offering a healthier and safer work environment for you and us!
